Info  not 10 days after the last car bombing in Beirut - targeting an American Embassy Convoy - another car bomb was detonated as Major Eid's car passed Chevrolet between Hazmieh and Furn el Chebbak. Major Eid, his bodyguard, and three civilians died in the blast. Over 20 others were wounded. is there not one good thing these days which can be told to us, the Lebanese in the diaspora to give us a stronger vision of hope for our beautiful Lebanon; a Lebanon tarnished by violence and cruelty, a stain so thick the beauty of her people now covered up?
My god those pictures are unbelievable. Amazing that bystanders were taking photos on cell phones!
I am so saddened to see more death and slaughter of innocence in Lebanon. I'm a Lebanese-Canadian writer and I love this site.
