yesterday's storm brought in snow capped mountains and a very clear day.

it's the first snow of the 2006/2007 season.

soon, the ski slopes will open and the chimneys will burn.

I have to go to Damascus next weekend - I had hoped to come over to a new opening on Saturday night, but now too busy. Soon, though, I hope to see the beloveds and the snow. I need my friends to get wood burning stoves - it sounds much nicer than an electric oven in Verdun! Hearty :)
