With a ratio of 7 women to every Lebanese man... such sights are not uncommon.

Seven to one ratio? You can you say that with a straight face?
I hope you are joking and I completely missed the humor in it. You realize that can't be even close to the truth no matter how you twist it right ?

You realize that a ratio of 7 to 1 means 1 million men for 7 million women and estimating lebanon's population to 3.5 million this means there are only 500 thousand men in the whole country with the remaing 3 million being women. This is totally irrational, you should check your fatcs. Even in russia after world war wo there wasn't a 7 to 1 ratio. I agree there is massive immigration of men and so on but that would change the normal 50-50, to 55-45 or even 60-40 but never logically 7 to 1.

worldwide statistics estimates that in most countries there are 4 women to every single man. and since a lot of men are leaving lebanon (inlcuding me and my bro next month!!) i can say there this might me be true! maybe not 7 to 1 , but not less then 5 to 1!! but still i never saw any women running after me ;)

This is male propaganda. 7 to 1 never heard of in history. Check your facts.
