The Ministry of Health in Lebanon has issued the following guidelines for
the Swine Flu 'Pandemic'.
Swine Influenza Signs and Symptoms
The symptoms of Swine Influenza in people are similar to the symptoms of
regular Human Influenza. These include:
.. 38 Degrees Temperature
.. Fatigue
.. Headache
.. Sore Throat
.. Nausea & Vomiting
.. Body Ache
.. Cough
.. Diarrhea
.. Chills
Means of Infection
Infected people can infect others as early as 1 day before their symptoms
develop and up to 7 or more days after their development. This means that
you may be able to contaminate someone else before you know you are sick, as
well as while you are sick.
Preventive Measures
.. Keep your hands away from your face and mouth especially after coughing
and sneezing
.. Wash your hands frequently with water and soap and dry them well, (use
alcohol-based hand cleaners when available)
.. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing
.. Limit your contact with sick people
.. Use face masks (N95) in airports and when traveling
.. Frequently evaluate your personal health state
In Case of Sickness
- Consult your doctor immediately
- Cover your nose and mouth with a face mask
- Stay home, avoid public places until you fully recover
- Avoid contact with people
