torino express is the only pub/restaurant still open in gemmayze... they will be remembered for being the ones who held steadfast to welcome the many wandering souls seeking an escape from this absurd reality.

I was there last october, writing an article about Beirut's renaissance for 34 magazine. I even got a gig deejaying from my ipod on that tiny front window console.
Respect to Andreas and all the Torino Express crew. Resistance isn't just about demonstrations and boycotts: it's also about refusing to let them stop the music. No?
