The overwhelming majority of Lebanese are bilingual, and the majority of the educated Lebanese are trilingual.
The languages are: Arabic, English, & French.
Not only are we trilingual, but our proficiency in these languages is superb due to the very nature of Lebanon as a cultural melting pot and european tourists destination.
By accounts from French, English, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, Greek, Turkish, Cypriot, Swiss, German, Austrian, Belgian, Norwegian, Finnish, Spanish, and Irish friends and acquaintances, Lebanon is as close to a home away from home as they've ever been.
For this reason, it seems, Computer Associates and many other multinational corps are outsourcing to our country on the Eastern Mediterranean. This, even in light of the assassination of Hariri and the Kafa Revolution. Impressive no?

On a similar note, the EU is reviewing Lebanese reforms to take place in the coming months in a move that might find us much closer to our european neighbors, thus boosting our economy considerably.
