The ExxonMobil Middle East and North Africa Scholars Program is a scholarship program which provides select student leaders with a fully-funded scholarship towards the completion of a Master's or PhD degree. The scholarship covers tuition, insurance, housing, and books. Additionally, a monthly living stipend is provided for the duration of the scholarship program. This scholarship is funded by ExxonMobil and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).
The application is currently open to recent bachelor's program graduates, current seniors (graduating by June 2011) or current graduate students. Students can apply year round. Selection takes place after October and January deadlines. Applicants who have or will have completed a degree in the United States or Anglophone Canada will be exempt from the TOEFL requirement. Finalists will be invited to a short-course event in Istanbul, Turkey. Selected scholars will receive placement assistance for a university program in the United States.
