I named my son after St. Elias. I cry thinking about how it could be my son and family going through the horrors that you and other Lebanese are going through.

How peaceful is a country that allowed a terror organization to accumulate 12,000 missiles and rockets within its territory?! Maybe the Prime Minister of Lebanon thought that with tons of explosions Hezbollah was getting ready to sign a peace treaty with Israel...
At the risk of sounding like a broken record.....The people of Lebanon did not invite Hezbollah....nor did the current Lebanese government.
Hezbollah....was created out of a perceived necessity, and is a phenomenon of Syria and Iran. To expect the Lebanese government and people to enter what would be all out civil war is not only ridiculous...but a tad selfish as well. Where was the US and other western and middle eastern governments, not to mention the UN...that they did not do more to ensure that resolution # 1559 was put into place??? Out of sight...out of mind. |
