Horrible, inhumane. Really makes me wonder about the Israeli intentions. Lebanon certainly looks like a beautiful country from the pictures you posted. Looking forward to more of your blog entries and pictures.

sadly the canadien media is not speaking about the loss of those 8 canadiens..
sadly the new canadien goverment belives israel is doing the right thing... i must say that the new canadien government does not speak for canadiens... even though they voted for them....they still do not speak for the canadien population... any non main stream media will prove it... also remember 99% of the media in canada is sadly now owned by one person... who also does not speak for canadiens...

After years of being somewhat in agreement with the actions of the Israeli govt. I can now say I can no longer support them. The citizens of Lebanon don't deserve death at the hands of Israel. Although my government hasn't been the most peaceful we do from time to time turn the other cheek when the prospect of war is daunting or puts innocents in harms way. Seeing the pictures of the aftermath of Israeli aggression and the children killed in the bombings I just get sick to my stomach. Your people do not deserve this fate. Hopefully Israel will wake up and end their assault and my government distances itself from their actions.

I want to add my voice to these commentators, the canadian public does NOT agree with Harper and the vast majority didnt vote for his party, that's why they have a week minority government that hopefully will collapse under the weight of his complete support of Israel.
The media has actually stepped up the coverage of the masacre of those Canadians, we are disgusted and outraged and I am shocked at how differently average Canadians are reacting from Harper and Mackey. We do not support Israel, we are so angry about that poor family that the Isrealis killed and we are writing media and politicians to let them know. I encourage anyone who visits this blog to do the same. We're praying for the innocent Lebanese. And we were planning a trip to Lebanon next spring and we intend to still come and vacation and spend our money there. I know the world will do the same as it stands with the Lebanese people against this barbaric attack. BE WELL! |
