    Beirut has seen countless civilizations, cultures, and religions.&lt;br /&gt;
Three of the most significant &#039;cultures&#039; that have shaped this city are pictured below.&lt;br /&gt;
In the forefront, a Roman Pillar.&lt;br /&gt;
In mid-view, a church (Greek-Orthodox).&lt;br /&gt;
In the back, a mosque.&lt;br /&gt;
Their placement in the photo is also indicative (in my opinion) of their relative impact on the significance of Beirut.&lt;br /&gt;

    This is a side view of the Pigeon Rock, the world-famous &#039;rocher&#039; from which professional and insane cliff divers plunge to their not-so-certain deaths.&lt;br /&gt;
