<strong>Duration</strong>: 6 - 12 Months with Contract renewed Quarterly based on Performance Metrics<br />
<br />

<strong>Duties</strong>: Responsible for all PHP programming and MySQL DB development<br />
<br />
<strong>Requirements</strong>:<br />
<br />
-	Must be able to design, create, modify, and adapt complex information structures<br />
-	Must be able to understand and adapt existing open source code to meet requirements<br />
-	Must be familiar with real-time programming paradigms for interactive web applications<br />
-	Must understand the DB requirements / limitations / workarounds for large information sets (1000+ objects per user  thousands of users)<br />
-	Must understand web-service calls (Flash <-> PHP calls is a plus)<br />
-	3+ Experience in PHP-MySQL<br />
-	Proficient in English<br />
-	Must be able to work in a tight group<br />
-	Must be able to lead and follow<br />
-	Must be able to set own schedule / timeline / milestones<br />
-	Must have project management experience (start to successful finish)<br />
-	Must be able to meet strict deadlines<br />
-	Must be able to work flexible hours<br />
-	Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends if the schedule slips<br />
-	Must be able to sign an NDA and other legal documents<br />
<br />

-	Head Office is situated in Beirut, Lebanon<br />
-	Starts August 2008<br />

                <strong>first the brain drain... now this.</strong><br />
<br />
<blockquote>Nagi Boustany (Vocals/Bass), Jeff Dahdah (Drums) and Elie Richa (Guitar) formed the Walrus Hype in 2006.<br />
<br />
Throughout a year and half, the band trained and built up the repertoire in anticipation of concert appearances.<br />
<br />
Incidents and various setbacks postponed the anticipated event, until this June 2008 when drummer Jeff got his emigration visa to Canada, bound to permanently leave next September.<br />
<br />
A 3 month training course for guitarist Elie due to leave on the morning of Saturday July 12th forced the bands hand and imposed the night of July 11th as the last possible date for the 3 members to go public.<br />
<br />
Hence the concert date fixed, and the unusual double-event will finally take place: The opening and farewell concert of the Walrus Hype who as destiny would have it- will most probably never play together again...</blockquote><br />
